In order to stay accountable and inform people of where their donated money is going we have the fee’s lined up and will check them off as they get paid.
Ethiopian Adoption
Placement Agency Contract Fee $4200
Management Services Fee- $4,200 (fundraising in progress)
Dossier Authentication- $425
Dossier Processing Fee- $250
International Program Fee- $12,190
USCIS I-600A Filing- $720
Fingerprints- $170
4 round trip tickets to Addis Ababa- $8,960 (estimate)
Post Placement Report- $300
Total- $29,415.00
New Mexico Adoption
Attorney Fee- $3500 (retainer of $1500 paid)
Birthmom’s Attorney Fee- $3000
Homestudy Fee- $1650 (same as Ethiopian Fee)
Homestudy Addendum- $95-$300 (total fee unknown as of now)
Counseling Fee- $300
Medical Fee’s – ?
Post Placement Report- $300
Very Rough Estimated Total- $7300
These fee’s are to the best of our knowledge at this point in time. Anything can change, especially the airfare. And there are fee’s that are entirely unknown at the moment. We will update when anything changes or gets added.

Hey, my name is Meghan and we met at Chris & Casey’s wedding. We are starting the adoption process as well (domestically, since we can’t go to So Korea yet). What adoption agency are you guys working with here in ABQ? Awesome to hear about the domestic opportunity!!!! So exciting that God is bringing another little baby to your home!! I can imagine the timeline of that must be terrifying!! lol But I know you are very excited and God will walk through every step of the way with you, so “fear not”!
